Sorry, but I must be stupid. Where do I turn off dark-mode?

Dark mode is used if your system runs in Dark Mode. There is no separate switch to toggle.

So a thing I am not seeing anywhere in advance of downloading this new version is what the annual subscription *costs*. Is that a secret? US dollars?

It's no secret of course, but the App Store is available in may different countries with lots of different currencies. It makes no sense to list them all. The price is listed in the information section of the App Store page.

If you're in the US, it is $29,99.

I have seen nothing that justifies the move to a subscription model. No cloud sync, no server side needs, etc. that are the common excuse for moving to a subscription model. I won't comment on the feature set, but based on the announcement and FAQ, it is mostly cosmetic. I will try it as it has been, in most respects, and excellent product.

Congratulations on the release.

I have enjoyed using rubitrack since v3, but with the change in model I need to re-evaluate if the ongoing costs merit continuing use of the product.

Your Email states "Now available at introductory pricing for a limited time."
As it is now a subscription model can I ask what the continuing costs are likely to be after the introductory pricing is finished?

Thanks! The idea is that the subscription cost remains stable at the current rate for those who subscribe now.
